Abstract：The Encephal of Luctuograph Technology (ET) has been widely used in the fields of clinical medicine and sports etc, as a result of its unique assessment efficacies. This study demonstrated the feasibility of applying ET to the mental fatigue research of the civil aviation pilots via an analysis of the technical principles and key assessment efficacies of ET, as well as current development of its application in the relevant fields. On the basis of the discussion that focused on the current research development, remaining problems and the necessity of carrying out mental fatigue research on civil aviation pilots, this study then put forward the main entry points of the mental fatigue research on airline pilots using ET.
