Abstract:In order to investigate the condition of migrant workers’ emotionality,resilience, hardiness traits
loading and their predictive effects on psychological health, the Emotionality Scale for Chinese
Adults(ES) ,the Resilience Scale for Chinese Adults(RS), the Hardiness Scale for Chinese
Adults(HS), Fazio General Well-Being Scale(GWBS),and SCL-10 were administered to 559
migrant workers. The results indicated that the loadings of ES and HS of migrant workers are
significantly higher than the national adult norm, the loadings of RS of migrant workers was significantly lower than the national adult norm; the emotional, hardiness , resilient traits have
significant positive predictive effects on subjective well-being, and have negative predictive
effects on psychological distress.
