Abstract:Based on the affective events theory, this paper discusses the stimulating effect of environmentally-specific servant leadership on team pro-environmental behavior. The results of regression analysis on 118 team-level data showed that environmentally-specific servant leadership positively affects team pro-environmental behavior. Team natural awe plays a mediating role between environmentally-specific servant leadership and team pro-environmental behavior. Team collectivism orientation positively moderates the relationship between environmentally-specific servant leadership and team natural awe, and moderates the indirect effect of environmentally-specific servant leadership on team pro-environmental behavior through team natural awe. This paper reveals the facilitators of team pro-environmental behavior, which offers novel insights into pro-environmental behavior literature and green management practice.
