Abstract:The desire for happiness among new generation employees is increasing, making enhancing employee workplace well-being a pressing concern in politics, business, and academia. Inclusiveness is a cornerstone of Chinese civilization, and previous research has shown that creating an inclusive climate within an organization has numerous benefits. However, there is a lack of thorough exploration of how an inclusive climate impacts employee workplace well-being. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of employee perceived inclusive climate on workplace well-being using the Job Demands-Resources model and Self-Control theory. The study also analyzes the mediating role of career growth and the moderating role of self-control. Data was collected from 327 employees through a questionnaire at different times for analysis. The results indicate that employee perceived inclusive climate has a significantly positive impact on both workplace well-being and career growth. Furthermore, career growth mediates the relationship between perceived inclusive climate and workplace well-being, while self-control moderates the relationship between perceived inclusive climate and career growth. This study provides valuable insights for organizational management practices seeking to cultivate an inclusive climate and enhance employee workplace well-being, building upon existing research on perceived inclusive climate and workplace well-being.
