Abstract:Children’s school adaptation is a focal problem for parents, in which emotional adaptation and regulation are particularly important. To explore the influence of parents’ meta-emotional philosophy and children’s temperament on preschool children’s emotions, the questionnaire was adopted and preschool children aged 3~7 and their parents were selected as participants. Parents reported questionnaires. One-way analysis of variance, multivariate analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis were used. Results: (1) Parental emotion-dismissing negatively predicted children’s anger regulation; (2) Parental emotion-coaching positively affected the anger regulation of children with low negative temperament, and parental emotion-disapproving negatively affected the anger regulation of children with high control temperament. It showed that parents should adopt different parenting styles for children with different temperament.
